hello all,
my inlaws got 10 yrs visiting visa on March 17 th . we r really very thankful to this site for providing the detailed info. we r so tensed about their visa but after it it was a great pain relief to us.
we took the appointment for them in telugu. and the interview was going like this:
Q:who is sponsoring for your trip?
Q:how many sons do u have?
Q: how many sons r there in US?
Q: what is your other sons doing?
Q: do u have grand children over here(in india)?
Q: do your son who is in US have any children?
Q: before retirement, what was your profession?
Q: may i see your son's documents?
Q: where is your son living in US?
A: my father in law told him that he is living in philadelphia.but while looking at documents, he tried to confuse my father in law by saying that no, these documents showing that he is living in california . but my father in law confidently answered him that no no he is there in philadelphia only. then he gave a smile and he told them to pay the fee at the next counter.
my best suggestion to everyone is , prepare your parents or inlaws well by taking interviews yourself so that they couldn't confuse at their interview time and send the documents which r required in a perfect way. i wrote down all the questions which they ask to so many people by reading the experiences which they given in this site and my husband took the interview to them before leaving to chennai.
