My parents had their visa interview on the 6'th feb '2007 at the chennai consulate..It was definitely not a cake walk but fortunately they got 10 yrs multiple entry visa...all the sponsor's documents was checked thoroughly....The key thing I wanted to share with you all is,,my dad had put the intended period of stay in DS-156 as 2 months and the officer told them that he would grant them 10 years visa now,,,but next time he would not and also added that had anybody else been in his place,,they would have given a short term visa..so folks it is better to put 4 months in that column just to avoid any problems in the duration of visa....nevertheless you can be confident as long as you provide genuine documents...Good Luck guys!!!!!!!!
