We reapplied for my mother in laws visa and it got approved. The first time we had not given much importance to questions relating to my wifes family and financial documents coz we were going to sponsor my mother in law. My advise is that go completely prepared with all the information and all the documents from both the side no matter who is sponsoring specially financial.
