Visitor Visa - B2

Hi Friends,

First of all I would like to THANK each and everyone who have taken thier time out to post thier Visa Expereinces on this website...

I went through all the pages on this website reagarding the Visa Exp. of various ppl. I'll be honest here, I was nervous to the core, despite the fact that everyone who got their Visa said " Just be confident & U'll get it " That is exactly wat happened to me when I went for my interview on the 17th..

It was scheduled at 9:30 am at New Delhi Consulate

After all the wait ( Almost 3 hours ) my token number was displayed, a young guy was the VO, I greeted him Good morning, to which he didn't even care to respond, then followed the ques...

1 > Where do u work ?
2 > What do u work as ?
3 > How much is ur annual income ? I said ....
4 > How much do u think this trip will cost u ? I said...
5 > U r willind to spend 67 % of ur annual income for just 1 week trip ?
Ans : I have my savings, also i have plastic money if required ( Credit cards ).He didn't seem to have been convinced, anyways..
6 > What does ur parents do ? Retired
7 > What did they do before retiring ? Told
8 > R u single ? M engaged
9 > Ur travelling alone ? Yes
10 > Do u know anyone in US ? No, my companied HQ is there though....

That was it...Ur VISA HAS BEEN APPROVED,I got it within 2 days via courier...10 Years Multiple entry.

I know this was long, but believe me this will definately help ppl who r applying for the first time...
