Scheduled our interview on a monday morning, 0745hrs.
We were 4th in line when we arrived at the US embassy. At 0730, the guard called us to deposit our mobile phones and scanned our items.
At 0745, we were inside the building and few minutes later, our number was called and provided the counter our documents (ds160 confirmation, passport, appointment confirmation, photo and bank receipt).
At 0800, our number was called again to have our fingerprints scanned. Our docs were given back and asked for our number to be called again for the interview.
At 0830, the first number was called for the interview.
We were called at 0845 by counter number 4. Oh by the way, we scheduled to be interviewed together.

Us: Good morning.
VO: Good morning. (Smiling) What a morning isnt it?
Us: Yes ... (smiled)

VO: What is the purpose of your trip?
Hubby: For a holiday

VO: Have you been to the US?
HUbby: No
Me: No

VO: How long have you been in SG?
Hubby: 6 and half years
Me: 5 and half years

VO: Are you permanent residents?
Both: Yes.

VO: do you have relatives in the US?
Me: I dont have immediate relatives but i have a cousin in Florida.
Hubby: i have a sister in California.

VO: (to hubby): Do you have any other relatives there?
Hubby: (with long pause): i have distant aunts there but i have not spoken to them for years.

VO started typing in her computer. Then separated our passports from the old ones, returned the old passports and told us that our visa is approved, wait for the passports to be delivered to your address on thursday. And she also told us to enjoy our holiday.

Us: Thank you.

No document was asked. it was a very nice feeling when she told us that the visa has been approved. We walked out of the embassy with a very happy feeling.

Hope this can help other people with their Visa applications.

Thanks for forums like this that helped us a lot in the interview preparation.
