So the whole process from application to actually getting my americam passport it was exactly 4 months!!. Beyond my most optimistic expectations not only in terms of timing but also of lack of any complications along the way(very quick and objective interview, no waiting time for finguerprinting, quick response from each estep to de next in general. I think that the processing time is faster now because their sistem was reinforced after the increase of applications in part due to the elections, but now that is past and the price is a little stiff for some to the point of being a regulator of excessive demand.
