My Parents got B2 Visa approved from Kolkata consulate
I parents finally got their visa approved yesterday! This was the third time they had applied with previous 2 rejections. The last two times were rejected on the same ground - 'Failed to prove enough ties back home' -section 214(b). There were no documents asked to prove anything. Their petitions were just rejected.
This time we followed the same process as last two times, but everything worked positively.
Questions asked :
How many kids do you have ? - 2 Daughters . One is India and other in USA
Are you visiting your daughter in USA? - Yes
Is she married ? - Yes
Does she work ? - Yes
How long do you plan to stay? - About a month
Who is sponsoring your air tickets? - We will buy ourselves.
That was all. They were notified that their visas are approved. Still awaiting to get the passports back to know the validity.
So, it is to let everyone know that please try multiple times even if nothing has changed. "3rd time is always a charm"
