Suggestion required with respect to first name and Given name interchanged in us travel docs

While filling details in us travel docs, My first name and last name got interchanged. But I have filled details correctly in DS 160.I have appointment scheduled on Oct 22. When checked with the VISA application processing team within our company, they mentioned that it is fine. No need to change that now.
My questions as below :
1. Do I need to change first name and last name in us travel docs site ?
2. If it is required to change, what is the process to follow to do that change and how many does it take for the change to get reflected.
Please respond at the earliest and help me get rid of this issue.
