H1B, H4 Visa

Hi,

I have attended h1b interview at Hyderabad consulate on 1st week of october 2014.
Mine is internal project and VO asked basic questions like employer name, product name, salary.

Then he issued 221g white slip and asked me to update my employer to provide the mentioned documents.
After coming outside I have noticed that all the petitioner document options are checked.
I wondered even he didnt ask any document except tax statements though I had them with me.

Then I have informed my employer about 221g.
My employer sent all the documents to hyderabad consulate within 2 days through email.

But since my interview, my case status is still showing administrative processing withc status updated date as my interview date.

Now it is almost 1 month 20 days.

Can anyone please tell me is it fine to send the employer documents through email or do I need to submit the physical copy at ofc.
