H1B Approved @ Mumbai on Dec 2, 2014
Hi,

Thank you all for your inputs and suggestions. They were of great help.

Brief background: I work for a Top MNC and had appointment on BEP Priority.

I was booked for 10 AM slot and was allowed entry only after 9:30 AM. It took me max. 10 minutes from joining the queue to clearing the security.
Now, in Mumbai; they don't have token system. After Security, there is an area covered by shades where you are allowed to sit and wait, and security people one-by-one allow each row occupants inside where you have a queue managed by another security person. Here, you see the interviews being done. The person managing the queue will ask you to go to a certain counter.
But an odd thing that I noticed that they took right-hand fingerprints of everyone before asking to join the interview queue. I didn't notice reading about this here.

My VO was a friendly lady and the whole conversation lasted for at max. 30 seconds. The transcript as follows:

VO: Good Morning Sir
Me: Good Morning Ma'am

VO: Can I have your passport please ?
Me: Sure

VO: and that one too? (Pointing to I-797B)
Me: Here you go

VO: What do you do for (my employer)?
Me: I work as a......

VO: What will be your US salary?
Me: It will be $... per annum

VO: What is the highest degree that you have?
Me: ....

VO: Thank you! You will get your passport in 3-4 days.
Me: (Shocked) (Surprised) (Just stood there)

Me: Anything else?

VO: No, you are good to go. That's it!
Me: (NO GOLDEN WORDS :( but still that's okay)

Me: Thank you so much!

VO: Have a pleasant stay.
Me: Thanks! Have a great day!

I rushed back outside and way on cloud 9.
Just chill out and have a casual talk with them. They make you feel comfortable.
One more thing, VO didn't ask me for any fingerprints; otherwise as stated in my posts here.
