I applied for citizenship in Feb of this 2015 and went through all the usual process of finger printing. However, the office that I applied through is extremely backlogged and they are still process applications from July 2014. Since I couldn't wait, I file for an expedited request and it was granted. So i went from having to wait at least 5 months in line to being scheduled for an interview and my status was updated to scheduled for an interview. Thereby shortening the process for me. Now my question is how long would it take for me to get my interview letter? I received this news Friday of last week. And since my request was granted would they schedule my interview right away? Please advise
