Adjustment of Status - I-485

Hi guys I have a question hope i can get some definitive answers. My I130 came bak approved but say I'm not eligible for adjustment of status.
Does that mean i have to wait to apply or does it mean i can still send in I485 with a 601 waiver and get my green card.
My wife is a U.S citizen and i entered the country with someone else's passport july 2001.
Filing from New york,
2010 - attorney filed for FOA and retrieved the CBP records i entered with( the assumed name i used).
2014 Oct- filed I130
2015 April- recieved approved I130 but not eligible to adjust status.
please tell me what happens now.
