Hi all,
It was a MUCH quicker process than I feared after reading people's timelines but I understand each city and state is different.
I went through the MIAMI office and I am British who came in on an ESTA visa waiver program/tourist visa.
My time line is:
JAN 21st submitted forms
FEB 26th Biometrics interview
MARCH 13th travel permit arrived in the post
MARCH 23rd Employment Authorization Document arrived in the post
APRIL 18th received interview appointment
MAY 20th interview / green card approved
Beginning to end in 4 months.
Keep the faith people and good luck.
