Received interview notice! :)
Hi everyone, I wanna share my timeline today hope this may help :)
My husband is a US citizen and we got married while I was on a student visa.
We are from Michigan

Here is my timeline:

Jan 28th - Package sent to Chicago mail box
Jan 29th - Received by USCIS
Feb 09th - Receipts mailed by USCIS
Feb 11th - Received all receipts
Mar 14th - Received RFE ( copy for my student visa)
Mar 16th - RFE received by USCIS
May 16th - Received biometrics appointment notice for 5/29
May 29th - Biometrics appointment done
Jun 20th - Received interview notice for 7/21 in Detroit, the notice date is 6/16

I know my timeline is kind of unusual, seems everyone got their biometrics appointment notice very soon after they received their receipts,
but I haven't get that until May!
That was very frustrating, I called that 800 number, after the first time I called ,USCIS sent me a letter which was no use at all, it said sorry for the
waiting but they can't tell me when they will schedule the biometrics appointment for me but my case still in a normal timeframe etc.
The second time I called was 5/15, because my online status said it will have an update on 5/15, but nothing change on 5/15, so the lady in the phone told
me I need to check my mail box.
The third time I called was 6/8, I was wondering because I just done my fingerprint 5/29, is that means USCIS just started work on my case, the gentleman
who picked up my call told me no worried about these because the fingerprint is not the first step, they may do the name check/background check first, but he
asked me my zip code, then he said for the Detroit office's timeframe is 7.5 to 8 months. That discouraged me a lot and my online status never changed.

But I received the interview notice on 6/20 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I hope everyone don't put all your hope on the online status, I really don't think they update the status on time, even now my on line status still the same since
March :On March 16, 2015, we received your response to our Request for Evidence for your Form I-485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or to Adjust Status, Receipt Number MSCxxxxxxxxxx. Our National Benefits Center office will begin working on your case again. We will mail you a decision or notify you if we need something from you.

So don't be discouraged by the online status, pay attention on your mail box:)

I hope my timeline is helpful and everyone can hear a good news soon!
I will keep updating my post :)
