Interview approved
I had a very breezy experience with my application. Just got done with my interview a few hours ago and all I can say is - the Lord has been good to me as I went through this journey. I've only had to wait a little over 2 months to get my case processed.
Married may 8, 2015
May 26 mailed app packet (i130 and i485)
May 28 packet received
June 1 case status opened for both 130 and 485
June 23 biometrics appointment
July 10 letter of interview appointment set for August 12
August 12 interview.
We got there 30 mins before interview time but waited another 20 mins before we got called in. The officer was very friendly. She swore us in and went straight to the jugular afterwards - asking us for proof like utility bills or anything that would show we both live in the same address. She didn't even go through the file i prepared for her. Just skimmed through the bills I put together then went on to start a casual social conversation with my husband and I. She asked my husband about cars because she noticed that my husbands work evolves around mechanics and then proceeded to talk about out upcoming wedding planning ( we're having a real big wedding - not the courthouse in a few months ) she took 4 pictures from our courthouse wedding and also the save the date and invitation and kept it in her file. She didn't even look at our photo album ). Then she proceeded to tell us about the conditional green card and what I need to do in 2 years time to get it lifted then stamped my file approved. It didn't even feel like an interview. I let felt more like a social get together. We didn't even realized we've been casually chatting for half an hour.

2 hours later I got an email notifying me about my card being ordered.

Everyone has different experiences - I hope my case can be an encouragement to those who are stressing out. It can't be all that bad as long as you don't fib your way through the process. Just present what's asked and it should be fine.
Good luck everyone!
