I would like to share my experience. I am Jordanian studying in the UK.
These are the papers I prepared:
1. Hotel reservation.
2. Flight reservation.
3. Ds-160 confirmation paper.
4. Appointment confirmation.
5. Account statement (6 months)
6. 1 photo.
7. University letter ( a proof that i'm studying at this university and how much time the course would take).
The interview:
Me: GM
VO: GM
VO: What the purpose of you visit?
Me: Tourism.
Vo: Is it your first time to go to US.
ME: Yes.
VO: Where are you going?
ME: NY
VO: For How Long?
ME: 9 days.
VO: Alone?
ME: No with friends.
VO: Have you ever been in other countries as a tourist?
Me: I mentioned 6 countries.
VO: When you gonna finish your study?
ME: Answered .
VO: When your UK student visa will finish ?
ME: Answered.
Vo: Who's sponsoring you?
ME: answered.
VO:Have you ever worked before and where?
ME: yes in XX
Then the golden words ...... Congrats your visa is approved.
The VO did not ask me for a single document :)
Advice: BE PREPARED and read as much as you can from other people experiences from immihelp.
