Detroit processing time diffrences
Hi everyone, thanks for all the helpful replies here!

I filed my AOS paperwork (I-485 + I-130, no EAD or AP) to the Chicago lockbox Feb 15th 2015, and my priority date is Feb 18th 2015. My field office is Detroit.

I had my biometrics appointment March 31th (I had to postpone it 2 weeks because I was out of town). Since then, I haven't received any communications from USCIS. The website says "As of Feb 18, we received your I-130.." and "As of Feb 25th, we accepted your fingerprint fee.."

Looking at other experiences on here for the Detroit office, people who filed a couple of weeks before me already had their interviews and received their green cards in July (e.g: Sam11 filed Jan 23, interview scheduled May 18), and some people who filed after me have gotten further updates (e.g.: mks1976 filed March 11, and received "Interview ready to be scheduled" notice on July 3rd).

But I've had zero communication. Is this normal to have such varying processing times for the same office? I'm a little concerned with not hearing anything (did they misplace my case?) Is there anyway I can check what the delay is?

Thanks!
