Advice
So far, I've found this forum incredibly revealing and helpful. I am the process of Adjusting my Status. I initially entered the country as a student and graduated in 2014. I am currently living in Dallas, Below are my timelines so far:

July 17 - Sent off I-1765, I-485, I-130 and 1-131 to USCIS
July 24 - Emails confirming case Acceptance
July 30 - Official receipt notices sent by mail
Aug 06 - Mail notice from USCIS to go do biometrics on 8/21
August 07 - RFE notification (Somehow my partner's signature was not included on form 864A, so they sent the last page back to sign)
August 13 - Mail notice RFE Received
August 14 - RFE sent back to USCIS with signed affidavit of support
Aug 19 - Email notification from USCIS saying that they've received my evidence and will resume work on my case

I have a couple of questions and would be grateful if I can get some advice:
1. Has any gay couples gone through the AOS process in the Dallas field office? If so - what was the experience like? [I am a little nervous for my USC partner that he may flip because he thinks some of the questions asked (from what we've come across are very invasive)]

2. I noticed that the Dallas field office is experiencing processing delays for I-485. Has anyone applied in Dallas in the last couple of months? How long did it take to get your interview date?

3. Approval of EAD. My company has agreed to hold on to my job for a couple of weeks but based on a discussion I had with my boss, they've been experiencing explosive growths in the last couple of weeks and it seems they are getting antsy about much longer they can hold off. Does the EAD always take the full 90 days to be approved?

4. What generally happens after you've done the biometric scan?

Thanks in advance for your comments!
