Change of address soon ask for advice
Hi,
I am applying for an AOS. I recently got married and applied for AOS by marrying a USC. I just got the receipt notices in the mail. They will send the biometrics appointment soon but what happens if I move. My husband is currently in California and I am supposed to meet him on September 9th (he had to move earlier to start a new job and I stayed here until our lease was over). However, it is more than likely that my biometrics appointment will be here in NC where I am living now.
So far my timeline is this
08/11/15 Case Received (I-485 and I-765)
08/13/15 Notice date
08/20/15 Receipts arrived by mail
Should I change my address now so that the appointment is done in California? or should I wait? What happens if I want to change the address of my appointment? has anyone gone through this?
I appreciate any help. Thank you so much!
