Living in different states
Hi everyone!
I applied for AOS June 15th 2015, Chicago office (that's when they received paperwork). My husband and I are currently living in different states. I am in Rochester, NY state, and he is in Florida until he finishes his PhD (hopefully only a couple more months!!) The other thing is that I just got a job offer and they are waiting for my EAD to come through. The job is in Ithaca NY and I am starting as soon as I get my EAD. Buuut since we were worried my paperwork might get misplaced during my move/change of address, I just changed my address to my husband's address in FL, which is where I will actually be after September 1st, temporarily until I can start my job. Sorry if this is complicated. Does anyone know which office is actually handling my EAD etc. and/or did anyone have a similar situation?
