My Daughter's OCI card
My experience with CKGS New York for my daughter's OCI was very positive. Total it took around 35 days to get the card. I have submitted my application in person and collected from OCI in person. Here goes my timeline
Your OCI Card and Passport has been collected from the CKGS Centre. 08/20/2015
Your Documents have now been received at the CKGS application centre and is being sorted. It will be ready for collection from the CKGS Centre on the next working day- 08/19/2015
The Embassy / Consulate has reviewed your application and is currently is 'In Transit' to the CKGS Application Centre. . 08/19/2015
Your Application is 'Under Process' at the Embassy / Consulate. - 07/16/2015
Your application has been processed at the CKGS Application Centre and is in transit to the Indian Embassy/Consulate for decision making.
Please continue tracking your application status online. 07/15/2015
We have received your payment and we are verifying the same. I- 07/15/2015
Your application has been received and is under process in CKGS. - 07/15/2015
Indian embassy people and Delhi ministry took time to send OCI card from 07/17-08/13...Then I called CKGS people and based on Gov Website status report, I have sent my daughter's US passport on 08/14 and received in CKGS on 08/17......within two days matchup process finished and I collected my OCI card on 8/20 by 5pm from CKGS in person.
I have written my experience to help parents and my fellow Indian citizens. Please pray for my family
