INSIGHT: Adjustment of Status - Pending Interview
Hello Everyone,
I'm from Port Washington New York. My field office that I submitted was Holtsville, NY for my I-485: Adjustment of Status. Please refer below timeline share:
July 24, 2015 = submitted my documents to USCIS
July 28, 2015 = UPS acknowledgement they had delivered my package to USCIS, Chicago
August 3, 2015 = USCIS acknowledge received
August 10,2015 = Biometric scheduled (Jamaica, Queens)
August 31,2015 = I-485 updated quoted, " we are ready to schedule your Form I-485, Application to Register Permanent Residence for an interview. We will schedule your interview and send you a notice."
Question:
1. Up to now I have not receive any formal mail from USCIS regarding my interview detail? Does anyone of my case experienced similar? How long will be the waiting?
2. EAD as per reading different cases and updates roughly estimate for the EAD is 1 month from the date of the last biometric process?
I hope you could share some insight.
