OCI delayed by more than 70 days, San Francisco
We have applied for OCI for my daughter at San Francisco consulate through CKGS. She already had PIO with lifetime validity, we applied for OCI as they are encouraging to apply OCI because of new rule change

Application has been sent to New Delhi on 02 JULY 2015, after that no update. It' still showing Under Process, now it’s more than 70 days (beyond 60 days processing time)

On CKGS website it's showing following status

07/02/2015: Your application from the Embassy / Consulate has now been sent to Delhi, India for further securitization and processing. Please continue tracking your application status online.
06/29/2015: Your Application is 'Under Process' at the Embassy / Consulate. Please continue tracking your application status online.
06/26/2015: Your application has been processed at the CKGS Application Centre and is in transit to the Indian Embassy/Consulate for decision making.
06/24/2015: We have received your payment and we are verifying the same. If the payment made is complete, you will receive a payment receipt shortly.

On Government website, status is showing "UNDER-PROCESS"

Tried calling/emailing CKGS, but they don’t have any further information. They are dependent on feed from Embassy. They have only one response "WAIT".

Visited Indian Consulate, San Francisco website, don't see any contact information, where I can talk with concern person on delay or any tentative date.

I have posted web query to OCI Counsel, but no response till now. Even they have provided 2 phone number to contact, virtually it's of no use, need to keep on waiting then gets disconnected

Can anyone please suggest direction, how to connect with Consulate to get the OCI Status.

Your help will be much appreciated.

Thanks,
Nit
