Fingerprint re-take
Hello guys, I've been following this site since I started our application last August, and I found it really helpful.
I had my fingerprint last Sept. 04 for form I-485 and I-765. On Sept. 12 they sent another letter telling that the FBI cannot process my fingerprint card, that I need to go back to ASC to get my fingerprint re-taken for form I-485. Why there is a discrepancy?
My husband did a lot of phone calls, until we found out that my fingerprint for the form I-765 already been cleared. He asked the USCIS why can't you use the same fingerprint from the form I-765 since the fingerprints gonna be the same, and the same person. for some reason they can't. The person who did the fingerprint forgot to scan the barcode for the form I-485. We need to drive back to ASC for 3 1/2 hours.
My question, is anybody here has the same experience? would you please share your experience and what are the other options aside from driving back there. Any comment is appreciated. thanks
