Interview is done, I-130 approved, but I-485 Pending
Hi guys,
not so good news yet on my green card. They were missing some documents due to their mis-organization and couldn't find some records and are requesting some dallas office some documents from database which can take 1 month to 4 months. So, I have to wait 4 more months maximum. But my I-130 is approved, dont know if it's worth celebrating. For the people who had their interviews already, did your passport get stamped during the interview if approved?She did take my i-94 's but didn't stamp anything on my passport. She basically asked us only 3 questions , how did you meet? What date is your marriage anniversary, when was the proposal. She already seemed content with our case ,but said she can't approve my I-485 since she can't find records for my H1-b, however, it will be approved as soon as she gets the records. I am sick of waiting, luckily no more interviews, but this is ridiculous, if they mess up something ,why do I have to pay the price and wait longer? Very frustrating. Anyone else had similar situation/experience?
