NYC Interview!
I have been following this forum for a while now. I am familiar with all the fellow NYC fillers. I have been hesitant so far to write my experience, but I think I am ready to share my side of the story now. I am a USC, and applied for my husband as marriage based green card.
As we all NYC fillers know that the wait for the interview is being terrible, since the Queens location is closed, Manhattan & Long Island office is super backlogged. But finally I see a light at the end of the tunnel. We have finally got our interview date. So my timeline is below:
02/17/2015- Package sent
02/23/2015- Priority Date
03/18/2015 - Fingerprints taken at Jamaica, Queens
05/02/2015 – EAD received by mail
05/06/2015 - Status changed to “case ready to be scheduled for an interview”
10/1/2015 - Interview is scheduled for Nov 3, 2015.
We are waiting for the interview letter now and most likely the location will be in Holtsville.
