I am from Houston Tx. Below is my timeline.
Aug 10- I765, I485, all supporting forms and documents accepted.
Sep 4 Biometric appt.
Sep 12 Update on I485 : We are ready to schedule your Form I-485, for an interview.
After That no updates yet on i765 or i485. Houston field office is processing January interviews till end of July31. So i think I have to wait 6 months from my filing date to schedule for an interview.
How long does it take to get EAD approved? I am currently having H visa. My employer said i can get promotion from my position and $$ Raise if i get greencard, Since it takes lots of explanations and documentation to submit to change position during H visa.
I am hoping after I get EAD, I still can get all these benefits since technically I am not sponsored by employer visa and eligible to work without H visa.
Can someone from Texas, Please share timelines for I765 and I485?
Can someone also share their knowledge about EAD from I485 pending and Hvisa?
