After EAD, what happens?
I just checked today that my husband EAD is being produced.
Timeline:
I live in Baltimore, MD
April 2014 filled I-130
I-130 approval August 2014
Initially I requested his permanent residency abroad in Brazil, because was he lived.
We (myself and kids ) moved for a few months down to Brazil. We returned in June 2015.
Filled -I-485 package in July 25th 2015
Biometrics appt August 18 2015
RFE August 21, I needed a joint-sponsor as USCIS didn't accept my husband's income, and I am currently a student. Sent 2 homes licensed appraisal and a joint-sponsor
Sent docs on September 29. Received October 1st.
I-485 online status says: "Response To USCIS' Request For Evidence Was Received"
EAD online status says: "New Card Is Being Produced", as of October 9th.
We have been married for over 7 years, we have 2 kids together, 2 houses, joint accounts, we have a bona fine marriage. Before kids we saw each other 2x/month (I know, we should be co-owners of United airlines) After kids he came from Brazil at least two times a month to Baltimore.
Should we expect to be called for an interview?
How long should we expect for the green card?
Our priority date is April 2014, when we filled for I-130, and July 25th when we submitted I-485.

In another note: we didn't use a lawyer and I don't think you will need one, if you have a "normal" case. You just need to be organized, and read very well all the instructions.
Best of luck to you all. I am a naturalized USC and did all my documents without a glitch. You just need to keep lists and make sure you print, and copy everything.
For the ones thinking about becoming USC after green car, take note of all your travels. I did over 75 travels over 5 years and it was a headache! Don't forget that all your travels will be registered when you leave the country using your green card, so there is no way to lie or hide any travel outside US!

Thank you in advance for all your help. This site has been really amazing.
