Hi Everyone!!!
My husband and I were so excited how quickly the entire process went, so smoothly. Everything was processed and accepted rapidly, then, it all came to a halt! The USCIS case status continues to say, "As of July 5, 2015, we are ready to schedule your Form I-485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or to Adjust Status, for an interview". I know it takes awhile, but, on average, how long? We are in Dallas, TX, and the processing times are confusing to me. I'm not sure if we are to look at the Field Office, but, if so, the last date is October 2014! Not even in 2015 yet!

Form Form Name Processing Timeframe:
I-485 Application to Register Permanent Residence or to Adjust Status October 18, 2014.
Here's our timeline:
5.5.15 - mailed forms, priority, to Chicago
5.7.15 - Received date and priority date are 5.7.15. Notice date is 5.13.15
6.5.15 - biometrics scheduled and completed
7.20.15 - Application for Employment was approved and card was sent out
7.30.15 - Application for Travel Document was approved and sent out
All that waits is the interview. I suppose we are nervous that something went wrong because everything else went so fast, but the USCIS office says we are good to go, that we are just waiting.
What is the Higher level CS, and how do we locate such information?
Any advice for the interview process? Do we need to bring anything?
