What to bring to the interview
First, I wanted to say that this site has been very helpful. I will post an estimated timeline, because I don't really remember the exact dates, but first I wanted to ask a question about the interview...
I finally got the date for my spouse and I to go to our interview and the paperwork says to bring copies and/or originals of basically everything you sent to them. Me, not being the smartest obviously, didn't make a copy of the entire application, nor all the affidavits, pictures, that I sent in. I will, of course bring new pictures, and documents, such as our combined insurance, bills, new lease, taxes, but what should I do about the fact that I don't have a copy of the original application I sent to them? Is this a major issue? And if so, how can I now get a copy of everything?

Thanks in advance for all your help.

Estimated timeline:

03/15 - Sent in application i-180 and i-485 to Chicago lockbox.
04/15 - Did the biometrics on the day the appointment was given to me.
07/15 - Moved to CT from MI.
07/23/15 - USCIS website said that our case was ready for interview to be scheduled.
08/15 - Sent in application for EAD because I didn't do it initially with the other stuff.
09/23/15 - Almost six months had passed so I emailed them an inquiry about the case. Got an email saying they would give me an update by 10/13/15
10/14/15 - Interview set for November 17th at 9am in Hartford, CT.
10/15/15 - EAD approved and should arrive in the mail shortly (haven't received it yet)

Hope this helps!
