My I-485 was submitted on Feb-2015 and I have been notified of an interview in the Irving, TX office.
I have heard that interviews are uncommon for employer sponsored green cards. However, I believe in my case it is due to a misdemeanor that I have about 20 years ago, when I was in high school, which I have always disclosed in my applications.
The letter lists some documents that I am required to bring to the interview. But should I also prepare a letter apologizing for the offense? What can I expect from the interview, length questions etc.? Will a decision be made immediately?
Any advise Will be appreciated. Thank you.
