Adjustment of Status - I-485

Had my AOS interview yesterday (10/22/2015) at the Chicago field office. Interview officer was nice and welcoming. We took our 6 months old with us so the IO was delighted to see her. She swore us in and proceeded by asking questions about our names, place of birth, date of entry in to the US etc. Then she asked us how we met and where did we get married. She asked us who all attended the wedding from both sides.. We told her our wedding ceremony was three days long, with one of the days being the actual religious/civil union. She was excited to hear that and asked my wife if she had different dresses made for each day. I told her we brought pictures but she did not ask to see them. She took our IDs and made copies.
Then we chatted for another half an hour about where we had come from and what neighborhoods are good to live in chicago and some of her own experiences about life.
Then she told me that she went through my file and said the form I693 that my civil surgeon had submitted was outdated and there was a newer version available online that should have been used.
She said that she understand it wasnt my fault and she was going to ask her supervisor if the case can be approved with this form. If not then, she will send me the old form in the mail which i need to take to the doctor and get them to complete the latest version and resubmit that. After that they should be able to approve my case and send me the greencard.

She told me to look for either a letter in the mail for the corrected i693 or the greencard, and that she couldnt approve my case due to this problem with the medical form. However she said everything else with my case looks good and legit and she is satisfied.
I guess i will just have to wait now. Anyone else went through similar situation?
