H1B Interview@Chennai
I had my H1B interview today(10/27/2015) at Chennai Consulate.
My appointment is scheduled @ 11.30 AM. I have reached @ 9.30. Then, I came to know that, queue is based on" first come first serve". Came out from the US consulate @ 10.20 itself.
After going through several counters, finally reached the interview hall.
Questions:
1. Passport please?
2. I797B Original?
3. who is your client?
4. salary? It will be mentioned in I129
5. you will be working in client office or petitioner's office?
Then, she started typing for 2-3 minutes. Then she said "Visa is approved" and handed me the US right pamphlet.
As far as I seen, if your petitioner and client is well known, you are very much safe. You will not be having any type of project, client related questions.
In case, if your client/petitioner is not well known, better prepare 2 minute speech separately about client, petitioner, project, roles and responsibilities.
