No update on OCI
Hi all,
I have submitted my son's OCI application to CKGS , DC on Sept 4th 2015. It's been sent to embassy on Sept 8th. It's been more than 2 months and status on the Govt of India website is still Under Process. I tried contact us option on OCI website([email protected]) and they informed me that application is still pending with the Embassy in Washington for processing and approval. They asked me to contact Embassy to expedite the process. I tired calling the numbers listed on embassy website numerous times but nobody picking the phone. I also mailed them ([email protected]) but no response till now.
Any body come across the similar situation? How can I contact the embassy in such situation. I tried contacting CKGS but they are asking me to wait as OCI status is shown as Under Process only. I am planning to travel to India on Dec 2nd week so I am worried to get the OCI on time before my travel.
