My husband is Eb2. I'm on F-1, filled as a dependent. Priority date is current.
8/7/15 - i-485 pack sent
8/12/15 - documents received by Nebraska Service Center
8/17/15 - checks cashed
9/19/15 - biometrics letter received
9/21/15 - bio walk in (officer gave us a hard time for waking-in, we had to show proof that we'd be out of town on the actual appointment date)
10/27/15 - EAD approved
10/30/15 - EAD mailed
11/3/15 - EAD/AP combo card received
As of now i-485 status reads "Fingerprint fee received".
Could anyone advise if it's okay for me to stop going to school at this point? My current quarter ended, and we really want to wait until I get mt GC to enroll in the next one, because it will be about 3 times cheaper :)
I know that for a marriage-based case it's okay to abandon F-1 status, but is this true for the spouse of an EB2 applicant? Please help, I'm confused, and Friday is the last day to enroll :(
