Adjustment of Status - I-485

Hi everyone,

This site has helped me a lot when I was preparing for my interview and I would like to return the same favor by sharing my timeline. This is for AOS through marriage.

August 13: Packet sent via UPS at 2 PM
August 14: Packet delivered at 10 AM in Chicago
August 20: Money taken out of my bank account
August 24: Received notice of action in the mail
August 27: Received biometrics appointment for 9/9
September 4: Biometrics done, did walk-in at 2 PM
September 4: Received request for initial evidence dated August 31 (Asked for sponsor's birth certificate)
September 9: Sent the sponsor birth certificate and also the i630, medical report
September 15: Status changed to my request has been received
September 21: Received notice to applicant regarding " a completed and signed i693 was not submitted" BUT I had sent it on September 9 already
September 24: AS of September 23, my case is ready to be scheduled for an interview
October 16: My new card is being produced
October 17: My interview is scheduled for November 19
October 19: Received interview letter
October 20: My new card was mailed ( I think I received on October 24)
November 19: Interview date. The whole process took about 95 days.

Will share my Interview experience in a later post but I did not get approved on the spot but it went smoothly though and I pray I get an answer soon.
