Concurrently filing I-130 &485 but lost visa
Hi everyone,
I am filing I-130 and I-485 (married USC). I lost my passport contained my B2 visa just few days after my arrival to U.S but I had the photocopy of my lost passport with visa page (without the most recent stamp). I have made a police report and new pp in U.S.
I am going to send two photocopies of pp: one of my lost pp (bcoz it contained my visa) and a copy of new pp. Do I need to enclose a letter of explanation ab my lost visa (and attached police report)? Or what else I can do? If it comes to interview later, does it affect on my files since I could not show the original visa?
Does anyone experience or know somehow to do? Please advise. I much appreciate you all.
