Timeline for GC
Hi all,

This forum kept me sane and informed while waiting for my Green Card so wanted to post my timeline in case it helps others. I am in LA, however my application was dealt with at the NBC. The whole process was done in 3 months and I didn't have any RFE's which I feel very lucky about.

My interview was exactly like everyone had described, very simple, quick, the lady was nice and we didn't wait at all. The only questions they asked were How did you meet, Who proposed & when, and When & Where did you get married. They then approved it on the spot. Also, because I am traveling in a few weeks and the actual card might not get to me in time, they gave me a temporary stamp in my passport - they were really helpful with this.

Here's my timeline..

22nd Aug – Application arrived at USCIS (day 1)
31st Aug – Checks cashed & 4 x email notifications (NOA's received in post 4th Sept) (day 10)
14th Sep – Biometrics App letter received (day 24)
21st Sep – Biometrics Appointment (I waited for app, didn't do walk-in) (day 31)
20th Oct – Email/ text notification of GC Interview Appointment (for November 20th) (day 60)
23rd Oct – Email/Text Notification…I-765 & I-131 have been approved & combo card has gone into production (day 63)
27th Oct – Email/Text Notification…combo card mailed to me (day 67)
29th Oct – NOA 2 I-765 & I-131 arrived in post (day 69)
30th Oct - Combo card arrived in post (day 70)
20th Nov – Green card interview…approved on the spot. Email/Text notification that card had gone into production (day 91)

MyUSCIS always kept me informed with the changes/developments, with the exception of the I-130 which still has no updates aside from the very first notification (but this seems to happen to everyone so I wasn't worried).

Hope this info help, good luck everyone!
