Adjustment of Status - I-485

Hey guys... My husband and I went for our marriage interview on November 19 in Atlanta.. Everything seemed OK ..the agent only asked the basic questions About the other ..where do they work ..family members names.. How we met and when...he than asked for our new medical forms because he said ours was expired.. We explained we had no idea they expired... He than just continued on with proof of our marriage..we gave him what we had and than he went through and started stamping a number of pages and said that's it and let me walk you out..he did not tell us if we passes or even what to expect next..

My questions are :
Is it normal for him to stamp all those pages if we did not pass everything?
And my understanding on the medical form is it expires 1 years after USCIS receives it NOT 1 year after you had your physical.. So if they received mine in march 2014 it should not be expired ..he took his physical Aug 2014.
.we live in Alabama ..5 hours away from our interview address in Atlanta so how do we find out information without going to Atlanta?
