Adjustment of Status - I-485

i will start by stating that my Husband is a canadian we have known each other for 3 years now. He has been visiting throughout the year ever couple months he last entry into the United States was April 4th 2015 and he was going to return 2-3 weeks after that but he proposed the 2nd week he was here and we decided to marry in July so he stayed. He did not need a visa due to him being a Canadian but he is in overstay now. Im so worried that will bite us in this whole process.

October 21st We filed I-130, i-485 and I-765
October 23 received by Illinois Office
October 26 received I-797 notice of action (processing)
October 31 received notice of Bio-metrics appointment
November 17th went to Bio-metric
November 18th was sent notice that doctor did not sign last paper for physical was notified not to send any information would be taken @ interview or if there is no interview needed they would mail us on instructions where to send paperwork

and nothing has changed on website at all, no approval or denial :( I am worried is this normal?
I have noticed that Illinois office has delays but should I be worried
