got GC as a christmas gift with in a week after the interview (i485 from nyc)
almost after 9 and half mnths of waiting got the GC.
here is my timeline for application filed from nyc queens....
priority date : feb
got combo AP and WORK AUTHORIZATION :april
mid april status changed to "ready to schedule interview"
july first week status again changed to " ready to schedule interview"
got fed up with checking online status everyday ....
finally november brought good news for me .....status changed "interview date on dec"
went for interview with the documents like joint account statement ,credit card statements,wedding photos and videos.
IO was a lady who was really nice and polite to us.
our interview didn't went not even for 10 mins and the IO approved us on the spot .
my wife is USC and she was asked questions most of the time by IO.i was asked just 2 questions by IO :)
after we left the federal plaza and checked the online status which showed "new card is being produced"
with in a week i got the i485 and i130 approval letter and GC card.
guys filing from nyc have to wait around 9 to 10 mnths according to my experience.
so don loose patience guys n i wish u all the best for ur interviews in this forum.
