interview Experience in Manhattan on December 22nd
Merry Christmas beautiful people!
I went to my interview on Tuesday December 22nd at 26 Federal Plazza in NYC. My interview was scheduled at 2:10 PM. We got there at about 1:50 PM where our lawyer was waiting for us. Unlike a lot of experiences that I read here where the couples had to wait for hours, we were received by the officer right at our appointed scheduled time. The officer was a very nice older gentleman. After swearing us in,he asked us just a few questions such as where and how did we meet, each other's full name and date of birth, and the name of each other's siblings and parents. He was actually laughing with us when we were telling the story. He also asked us what we watch on TV and when my husband had the nerve to criticize my favorite show, we started to playfully bicker in front of the officer, which made him laugh. When asked for my age, my husband correctly said 24 and then teased me about being closer to 30 than I am to 18, to which I answered that he is closer to 35 than he is to 20, which made the officer laugh! Then the officer and my husband proceeded to team up against me and tease me about the fact that I'm a vegetarian, to which I answered to come back to see me in 30 years with my low cholesterol and my youthful glow. Both the officer and my husband laughed. At that point he even stopped going over the rest of our documents and he said that we joke around way too much and bicker way too much for the relationship to be fake, which if you guys see me and my husband we are that couple laughing horribly loud in the Subway or in the street, and acting goofy and "weird" in public places! Haha. We were approved on the spot and on my way out I said that I am now gonna watch the show that my husband hates so much, which made the officer laugh again and wish us a good day. He told me to be on the lookout for my green card!. The officer didn't even look at half the documents we brought and took only two pictures of us as proof. I had a good experience at Federal Plaza :)
