Good day All,
Wishing for everyone a splendid 2016!
I have recently discovered this forum and have found it to be very informative. I have also found that it provides a sense of optimism and comfort to persons on the journey to gain Permanent Resident Status. So appreciate the forum.

I am a New York filer and wishes to share my timeline in the hopes that it will be helpful to someone and also to receive feedback from fellow contributors.

Married to US citizen
Entered US on B1/B2 visa- Status will expire some time in February 2016.

11/23/2015 filed I-130, I- 485 and I-765 with Chicago Lock box ( Prepared and filed without the assistance of a lawyer)

11/25/2015 USCIS received package- hence priority date

11/13/2015 received email notification that the applications were received and were sent to NBC for processing

11/16/2015 received mail confirmation of USCIS receipt of applications, priority date, A number etc. A check was also returned to me as I had submitted one for I-765 but was not applicable to my case.

11/16/2015 Online status indicated that all applications submitted were received and are being processed by NBC

12/26/2015 received mail regarding biometric date, time and place

01/05/2016 Biometrics done at the Portchester ASC. Arrived 15 minutes prior to my 12:00pm appointment. Was asked to submit appointment letter, ID and fill out a personal information sheet. I submitted my passport as identification. However, my surname in my passport was different from that on the appointment letter(maiden name in passport and marriage name in app. letter) Was asked to clarify which I did. Did not seem to be much of a problem.
When I arrived, there was only one person ahead of me so I was ushered to the next available person taking fingerprints. I did not have to wait for my scheduled time. They seemed to be operating on a number basis rather than appointed time. I was out of the building by 11:59pm!!

Here is my expectation for the journey ahead:

Jan 25: Next 15 days or so should see a change in my online status indicating that my case is ready to be scheduled for an interview

Feb : By the end of February, should receive my EAD ( work permit)

June: Notification as to interview date, time and place

July: Late July, early August interview conducted.

August: Green card received upon successful interview

My question is: How realistic do you think my expectations/predictions are?

Please respond.
Thanks for reading and thanks in advance for your valued response!!
