Adjustment of Status - I-485

My wife(USC) and I had our interview on Jan 14 at NYC filed office. The officer was a very nice and humorous man in his 50s. After leading us and our attorney to be in front of his desk, he told us he would start the interview without asking us to take the oath as he believed that our answers would be so predictable. He began with checking our identity documents including my wife's US birth certificate and checking if our address was correct. After that, he asked about how we met. We then told him our love story. During that, he introduced us some tips for living a harmonious life as couples, which made us feel really comfortable with the interview. We were then asked about our working statues (I am only one who is currently working.). One funny story: I often answered my questions in formal English, which triggered his curiosity regarding my education background. I then shared my education experience gained in England with them and also mentioned that our romance had actually started in London. At the end of the interview, he said he would grant me a Green Card and wished that our marriage would be a happy one forever. My wife and I were so thrilled with his sincere blessing.
That's all for our interview experience. In a word, there were only two questions were asked with. 1. How we met? 2. Working status.
However, my online status is still 'Interview is scheduled' as of today Jan 17. Hope I will receive the update of my case from them soon. My wife and I are planing to travel aroad after getting the green card.
