Hello
I am on H1b currently, and married to a Green Card holder (not US citizen). We started the process in October 2014. Here is my timeline so far:
10/14: Applied for I-130 (priority date 10/23/2014)
10/15: I-130 approved
01/15/16: I-485 application sent together with I-765 and I-131 applications
01/27/16: Check cashed
01/30/16: Receipts delivered
My question is this. My priority date is still not current (for F2A current date is Sep 1 2014, it appears like my priority date will be current in 2 months). Are they still going to process my I-765 application within 3 months? or they will wait until my priority date becoming current and the clock for 3 months starts ticking?
I am curious about this, cos there is some possibility of me changing jobs within 1-2 months. So I do not want to get into H1b transfer formalities.
