Detroit/Michigan Anyone??
Hi all,
Anyone from Detroit who applied for AOS in Early January 2016?? Here is my experience. My Application ( I-130,131,485,765 ) were mailed to Chicago Lockbox and being processed at NBC Lee Summit,MO.
My Time Line is
Day 1 - 01/11/2016 : USCIS Received my package ( I-130,131,485,765)
Day 9 - 01/19/2016 : Checks Cashed
Day 15 - 01/25/2016 : Received 4 NOCs for the applications
Day 20 - 01/30/2016 : Received the Bio-metrics Appointment letter dated for 02/08/2016
Day 22 - 02/01/2016 : Got the Bio-Metrics done ( Did a Walk-In)
And now waiting for my EAD. My Day 75 will be 3/25/2016. I have been reading different processing times for EAD where some got it sooner & some delayed I am just hoping that my EAD will get approved sooner so that I can apply for jobs and start working.
The USCIS needs to make this easy like at least allow folks to work once they receive the NOC while they are waiting on their EAD/Green Card approval like they do it for the H1B Visa where people work with just the receipt.
This wait is totally killing me but I know I can't do anything other than hoping for the best.
