Interview finished at Federal Plaza - NY (Brooklyn filer)
Had my interview Thursday at Federal Plaza.
The officer wasn't very nice or friendly. She spoke very fast and just checked things off on the file.
My husband made mistakes on two of her questions (our rent and how long he had been married to his ex wife). Nothing major in my opinion but you never know.
It was around 10-12 minutes.
Very fast....
She didn't ask me the yes / no questions at all.
When we walked in she said don't take your coats off just remain standing and we did our oaths to tell the truth.
Sat and she asked for our IDs and birth certificates as well as my passport and visa used to enter the US.
She asked if we had any more evidence to submit so we gave her our bank statements, our car insurance out lease and our utility bills.
She asked if we had photos. Gave her an album of 100+ photos from 2010 to now.... She flipped thru fast and chose three. Nothing from our marriage day.
One of my husband with my sister, one of me and him that was a selfie, and one of us kissing at a party.
She asked me most of the questions. I answered everything perfectly. About his family, alllll of their names... what he does, when we got our bank accts together.
When we met, where, who proposed, our rent and how long he was previously married, she asked him.
Everything was so fast I can barely remember everything!!!!!
Then she said ok I have everything I need but I'm just waiting on one more file that's why I have this green folder. Not sure what that meant. *sigh*
But she was already standing at this point and heading for the door!
She gave us a paper saying that our file is under review and waiting to be completed and that we should wait for up to 180 days for an answer.
We grabbed everything and flew out of there and put our coats on and stuff after.
It was kinda disappointing after hearing so many people saying they were approved on the spot ?.. I hope it went ok.
She made no small talk at all and barely looked at us. Even when we were answering she was looking at her notepad. Lolll
So frustrating.....
I'm a childhood arrival and even though I came in here legally, it all makes me very nervous.
Well it's done out if my hands now, I'll have to wait and see....
Keep you posted!

What do you all think who were approved. Sound ok?
