Hi All,
Few things I wanna tell you -
a.99% H1B visa get stamped.
b.If documentation is proper, VO can't deny you a an H1B visa even if you are freezing while answering to the VO questions or even if you are not looking confident.
c. VO knows that people are tensed already so even if you are nervous , no need to worry just remember - reply in a very polite manner and use your facial as well as hands expressions as much as you can.
Below is my entire conversation with the VO :
Me - Good Morning Sir.
VO - Didn't great me back. Asked for the passports.
Passed both the passport (myself and my wife).
VO - Please pass I -797.
Me - You want photo copy or Original sir ?
VO - Both.
Passed a Photo copy as well as original I-797.
VO - Mam, can you pass your marriage certificate(to my wife).
She started taking the certificate out from her folder.Then VO interrupted in between and started asking questions to me.
VO - is this first time you are visiting on H1B ?
ME - Yes Sir.
VO - For how long you have been working with company X.
ME - 6.5 + years.
VO - Your Salary in US ?
ME - XX,ZZZ+ Thousands.
VO to my wife - Mam what work you are doing ?
My wife - I am working as a software engineer sir.
VO - How long you have been married ?
My Wife - For almost 3 years.
VO - Scanned something in his system and asked whether I have got the Rights pamphlet.
By this time ,I knew our visa was approved.
ME - Yes sir.
VO - Your Visa is approved.You can collect it in 2-3 days from your POC.
Again one more time - if your documentation is proper while filing the petition and there is no misrepresentation of fact anywhere, you will get your H1B stamped your for sure.This is my promise.
