I-485, marriage based immigration from CO
Finally, after a wait time of 12 months I got approved for a 10 year GC!.
Marriage based GC process, applied on 5th of Feb 2015. I got one RFE regarding income immediately after the application (say within a month). Got biometrics in a month, got EAD in 72 days, later no info on my I-485 application online status. In Dec received a notice on status change to 'interview scheduled'.

I made extensive preparations on documents. Made a separate copy to give the officer, collected all the original documents. We went for the interview in Denver. It's not super busy, and waited for few mins before we were called.
The officer was extremely serious. He didn't even shake hand to introduce, we stood in his office while he made photocopies of our DLs. Later took oath and took respective seats. The first opening question was on my prev. marriage. I took divorce and married my current wife the next day. He wondered why so?. I had to explain him that I got separated from my ex since few years (absolutely no contact), then took formal divorce from US court. He asked few more basic questions, but never asked for any documents. At the end, he asked what else u can give me to prove your marriage. We showed home documents, mortgage, joint bills, recent trip to vegas and so on.
Eventually, the officer started smiling and proclaimed 'i do believe you both are real couple, and approve your case in few hours'. We were glad. After few hours, we received text that my case is approved. Got GC in 9 days of approval.

I thought of sharing my experience hoping that it may help others. Wish you goodluck with your cases. Be genuine, the world will somehow reciprocate the same: this's my core value.
