EAD got approved in 67 day and RFE did not affect
I want to share my experience.
I applied AOS (EAD AP included) based on marriage. PD 30th Nov
I got RFE on my case about my wife's income.
We actually have shown it but for some reason we got a RFE on I 465.
Since EAD was very urgent for me I started to search on WEB that if RFE delays EAD.
I have seen some examples where some applicants got their EAD delayed and from USCIS it is told to them that RFE ( initial) on any document may reset the clock and 90 days starts from beginning.
Besides even I responded to RFE within 1 week, it was received by USCIS at 28th day of RFE issued. It was even late almost 1 month..
However finally I got approved to my EAD at 67th day 5th FEB which is quiet earlier than many cases I see on WEB. I don´t know why...
So if you have similar situation dont think it will delay your EAD, at least it is not related..
